Peru: Miguel Chinguel
In our worldwide search for amazing coffee we're often drawn to Peru as a region that always produces high quality coffee, and that's the case here. This particular coffee was grown by Miguel Chinguel, who is a coffee producer from Progreso, La Copia in Peru. This particular lot is a Macerated Natural which means is processed differently from your standard Natural. Once picked Miguel's coffee cherries are washed and floated before being macerated in the cherry for 48 hours, the coffee was then dried under shade for 30 days.
In the cup expect to taste a big hit of blood orange with a light spice undertone. The mouthfeel of this coffee is very syrupy, with a long lasting finish. A real tasty, easy drinker for those brighter mornings.
