Our most requested and highly anticipated origin has landed! We're very pleased to present our first Ethiopian coffee of the year.
This fully washed coffee is from the Birhanu Tebeko and Neja Fadil washing stations in the Yirgacheffe district. The small holder farmers supplying this washing station cultivate the indigenous heirloom varietals at altitudes ranging between 1,900 and 2,000masl. The combination of high altitude, fertile soil, consistent and plentiful rains, and an abundance of local knowledge are all contributing factors to this refined cup.
Expect plenty of sweet apricot notes, a butterscotch backbone and complex floral notes.

Recommended brew recipe:
This is designed to work as both a filter and espresso. For filter we recommend using your usual recipe and if needed grinding a touch coarser.
For espresso this will benefit from a heavier out weight or a longer extraction time.
