The Kenya's have arrived! This will be the first in a series of Kenyan coffee in our rotation this year. They were so good that given the opportunity to purchase them we took a selection of washed coffees.
As a nice introduction to the run we have this C sized coffee from the Nyanjuki. It is a fully washed mixed varietal lot, and normally you see coffee come from Kenya as AA and AB, which is a size of bean grading, C is sightly smaller and thinner in profile but no less filled with quality. We have crafted a profile for this Kenya to make sure it works as both a filter brew and as an espresso brew as well. Filled with classic blackcurrant notes and the same clean acidity we have come to enjoy from coffees from Kirinyaga it has shaped up to be a superb all day coffee.

V60 - 22g coffee, 250g of water for a 2 minute 30 second to 2.45 minute brew using 99* water and the Scott Rao Method
