Here we have a wonderful washed coffee from Esther Sampertegui, hailing from the Jaen District of Cajamarca in Peru. Esther grows caturra varietals on her El Mirador farm which is situated approx 1600masl+ and is subject to cooler conditions and longer growing seasons which helps to develop the characteristic fruit forward and complex cup profile that comes from her farm. Using fully washed techniques to help emphasise this complexity and brightness we find raspberry, citrus fruits and strawberry undertones throughout the brew. Clean and elegant this is a coffee not to be missed.
